Three and a half tons of carrots (7000 pounds)are repackaged in 3 short hours by members of multiple Rotary clubs at the Food Lifeline (a partner of Rotary First Harvest)warehouse on a cold January 2008 day. These carrots will be distributed throughout the area to local food banks next week.

The Rotary Club of Sammamish has donated $5,000 to this project. Because of matching funds from Rotary International, World Vision, & The Conrad Hilton Foundation, this contribution will grow to $40,000.
